THE ARCHITECT OF THE UNPLANNED

I am a brand and marketing strategist, real estate agent, baking enthusiast, and lover of spaces with ‘good vibes.’ I believe in the power of a solid foundation on which to build, the beauty of a good piece of artwork, and the magic of the perfect chocolate chip cookie.

For most of my life, I have believed that the right system and the perfect amount of effort could solve any problem. Between college exams and getting my real estate license, that has been the ‘way it works’ for the most part. I have spent my career coordinating large-scale events and creating structure out of endless to-do lists, so it makes sense that I’ve always thought that if I just planned well enough, I could bypass the “messy” parts of life.

But I’m learning that some of life’s best chapters can’t be predicted, no matter how organized I am.

From “Chief Confessor” to Still Confessing

This space started years ago as a place to confess the “good, bad, and ugly” of my dating life. Today, the confessions look a little different. Now, they are about the reality of living in the “in-between” — that season where you’ve meticulously planned for the outcome, but can’t seem to find your way out of the middle. Now, Still Confessing Co. isn’t about dating stories or being the most structured, efficient, or organized person in the room. Instead, it’s about navigating a life that allows you to enjoy who you are now while preparing for the person you are becoming.

I’ve spent my career in events, orchestrating every detail to ensure a perfect outcome. Now, as a first-time homeowner and licensed real estate agent, I’m applying that same intentionality to the concept of “home.” I’m not just helping others find their place in the market: I’m actively learning how to turn my own house into a sanctuary, even when the timeline of my own life feels a little out of my control.

I still believe in strategy. I still love a good system. But now, I’m using those tools to architect a life (and a home) that has room for grace, rest, and the occasional unplanned detour. I’m focusing more on being, not just doing, and allowing myself to love my life and what it looks like, even when it doesn’t look like the final image I’d imagined.

“Building a sanctuary for the woman I am today, while I prepare for the woman I’ll become tomorrow.”

WHAT YOU’LL FIND HERE

I don’t believe in “nicheing down” because I have way too many interests for that! We’re all complex characters, and my content reflects that. Here, I’ll discuss:

  • The Architecture: Insights into brand strategy, real estate, and intentional business design.
  • The Seasons: Honest stories about the chapters of life that don’t go according to plan — including my personal journey through the middle.
  • The Living Room: A celebration of the “realistic soft life,” from home decor and West Elm aesthetics to the rituals of baking and community.
  • The Original Confessions: A nod to where it all started—my life as a singleholic, travel, and the genuine authenticity that built this blog.

BEYOND THE BLOG

When I’m not drafting marketing strategies or tracking the real estate market in Southwest Florida, you can find me walking my dog, Lottie, enjoying some good music and a dance session, or in the kitchen obsessing over perfecting my focaccia bread.
